Purpose
Our Program is designed to provide children with a safe environment that enhances social and emotional development in a nurturing atmosphere of fun and creativity. Our school-based program is a natural continuation of the child's day to benefit the parent, child and community.

Before School Program
(7:30 am until the school day begins)
Each child attending the Before School Program will participate in a safe, friendly environment that will provide choices in a low-key, quiet beginning of the day activities such as:

  Drawing books
Simple craft projects
Homework review

Hand-held games
Storytelling
Paper/pencil games

Card/table games
Puzzles
Reading
 

After School Program (3:15 - 6:00 pm)
Each child attending the After School Program will participate in flexible, varied schedule activities such as:

  "Cool-off"/"warm-up" activities
"Supervised" homework times
Sport games
Group recreational activities
K'nex/Lego building activities
Visits
"Self-help" activities

Daily snack and drink
Show and tell
Arts and crafts
Computer games
Free (social/quiet) time
Talks and demos

 
  (e.g., fundamental first aid, social problem solving)

It should be understood that Homework Review and Homework Time do not replace a regularly established study and homework time when parents can review school assignments with their child.

Pre-Registration
All registration applicants must be accompanied by an Application Fee of $35.00 and an Enrollment Deposit equivalent to one-month's tution. If account is up to date, the deposit will be applied to June tuition. With advanced (one month) written notice of withdrawal, this deposit will be applied to the bill for the last full month. Withdrawal from the program without advanced notification will automatically forfeit the deposit, and you will be responsible for all outstanding program fees.

Calendar
The Extended Day Program will follow the schedule of the New Hope-Solebury School District and will begin on the first day of the school year.
